But the Augusta location on Robert c Daniel is the best.
If you ever been curious about martial arts or want to start exciseing and don't really like the gym or want something different, this is where you need to go. You will get more out of 1 class, then you will in a week at the gym in my opinion and the augusta location is good with supporting and trading you like family.

Premier Martial Arts in Concord, NC is a great studio and center that teaches kids not only martial arts skills but life skills & lessons. We joined because Theo expressed interest in karate, but we were pleasantly surprised to find that they also go over topics such as nutrition, health, mental well-being, perseverance, good sport conduct, etc. It’s been a great experience & I can’t wait to see what my son gets to learn each week.

With a soon-to-be 6 year old that is neurodivergent, we struggled to find an activity where he could participate and have the right support he needs, with the flexibility to miss days if necessary.

My son has been attending the Little Champs class for a little over a year, and he absolutely loves it and we've seen so much progress. Mr. Rohner, Ms. Nicole, and Mr. Hill are all wonderful instructors and so kind and patient with the kids. They make it really fun while also holding them to a high standard and instilling a lot of confidence and self-control in the children. Our son constantly talks about the lessons he's learned there and looks forward to going every week. It's great that he's been able to get consistent exercise and learn new skills, but I think the real benefit is the mental growth that comes with karate and learning about what it means to show respect and gratitude, discipline, and perseverance while also having a great time. He’s not only learning martial arts but also respect, discipline, practice and focus. Coach Sean is so great with the young age group even when they come with rambunctious energy! During the last belt test out, Coach Sean gave about 40+ children new belts one by one and he had conversations with each child giving them praise and positive feedback, it was really sweet to watch. Last year I wanted to get my son involved in something active. Premier Martial Arts had just come to Canton and were enrolling new students. He was hesitant at first, but now a year later he LOVES IT! Not only is he learning self defense, he has also gotten more toned and physically fit. Both of the coaches Amanda & Juan expect Manners, Responsibility, Self Discipline, Respect and Good Grades. They want you to learn self defense and be confident in it. I have watched my son grow in agility and strength. He has entered the Black Belt Program and now has his eye on the next one. He is such a sweetheart and has been picked on in the past. In the times that we are in now with children getting bullied, I wanted to make sure that he would be prepared. They teach the young and the old! For the adults, this beats a gym membership. I started here in early August and I immediately loved it from the trial class. I signed up the same night as my trial class and have already felt such an improvement in my self discipline and training. I’ve learned so many useful self defense tactics and skills from various styles of the arts. Most importantly I love the instructors who really make this school great. They’re so encouraging and helpful and really care about their students learning and progression. Ms. Martin and Mr. Gonzalez really really care about their students and enriching their learning and you can tell everyday in class how passionate they are. I love learning here and working with them. Mr. Liles, the man who owns the school is also wonderful and really cares. It’s always an honor to learn new things from him and the instructors. They’re so helpful too when you don’t always get things at first. It feels like such a safe space to learn and grow. I really recommend this place as a martial arts school. My four-year-old son struggled with behavioral challenges throughout preschool, and unfortunately, occupational therapy didn't provide much improvement. Seeking an alternative, we enrolled him at Premier Martial Arts to instill some discipline. Three months into the program, he has gone 35 days without a single outburst or tantrum at school. His teachers have noticed a significant improvement in his ability to listen and make positive decisions, crediting a drastic change in his behavior. I believe this transformation is largely due to Sensei Josh's influence. My son has embraced the rigorous discipline and is eagerly aiming for his black belt. The Little Champions program has been incredibly valuable, and we're hopeful for a spot in the PMA kids' program as he progresses.

Mike and Wren Mench have really made this location feel family friendly. He's firm enough with the kids that they listen, but don't become discouraged or intimidated. Each week during one of the lessons (if time permits) he sits them all down and talks about real life situations (such as bullying) and how the students should approach and handle those situations. I really makes the kids understand they are not be alone if they've experienced situations like that. It takes a lot of energy to run a dojo with that many classes and students and I applaud their efforts. Keep up the great work!

I rarely Post Reviews but felt the need to share my thoughts on this place. We hosted my Son’s 6th birthday and it was such a different and unique experience for a birthday party. All the kids enjoyed it so much and every kid got so into it. They loved it! The instructors were amazing with the kids and we will be signing up our kids for some classes. The place was extremely clean. If you are looking to host a party that’s a bit different than everything else around town and teach the kids some discipline at the same time. This is the place!
