Great place for families as well as anyone else who wants to learn the martial arts and all its avenues. For so many years, I have watched both owners and instructors pour their hearts into their students and invest in them to help them grown in all aspects of life. Highly recommend it. I also see my own grandkids attend PMA and grow as rounded young men. So proud of what they are learning from each class.

We can not find enough words to describe Al Garza Premier Martial Arts- Pearland. We are so blessed to have found this place. Our daughter has been training with them since she was 5 years old, she will be 12 in July of 2026 and will graduate with a black belt the same month. The instructors are amazing! They care for each student and are always willing to help them reach their best! Thank you Al Garza PMA/ Pearland for all you do!

We’ve been apart of the Al Garza PMA family for 5 yrs now and this was the greatest decision we have made for our daughter. We have seen her grow and excel through the black belt and leadership programs and the instructors are amazing! They truly care about these kids and the families, and they motivate and inspire them to be their BEST! They are really more like family! The lessons learned on the may not only apply there, but in life as well. Our girl is better equipped for the future and has built some solid relationships and foundations thanks to this community. Amazing studio, amazing people, always a good time in learning

My kids have been attending for the last two years. My younger kid was able to keep herself safe in an unfortunate event at school due to their training. The claases are disciplined and the kids enjoy going to classes. We’ll be continuing the classes.

The staff here at this location is absolutely amazing. The facilities are super clean. Everybody feels like family. They treat the students with so much respect. They teach them so much. It is absolutely amazing how everybody gets along and they want everybody to succeed and the amazing staff. I cannot say enough about how amazing everyone is. !!!

We recently moved from the Allen PMA to the Lakewood PMA, and the transition has been wonderful. Coaches Jordan and Bryce were incredibly kind and attentive, giving Ryon the support he needed while honoring and retaining his kohai title. Their patience, encouragement, and genuine care made him feel welcomed and valued from day one. We’re truly grateful for their dedication and the positive environment they create.

My son has been doing martial arts at PMA for a few years now and the growth and maturity he has shown has been huge. I whole heartedly believe a lot of that is due to the training he gets there. The staff is amazing and friendly. I love that they are a Christian organization so Christ is at the center of all that they do and support.

We've even joined as parents in the program, we didn't want them to have all the fun, we wanted to learn with them!! We’ve had a wonderful experience with Premier Martial Arts. One of my children has been attending for years, and my other child recently started as well. The instructors do an amazing job teaching not only martial arts skills, but also discipline, confidence, respect, and healthy habits. Joining AGPMA is the best decision we could’ve ever made for our son. He is learning self discipline, respect, awareness of his surroundings, and self defense techniques that he will carry for a lifetime. This place is amazing

PMA had been so amazing for my family. We have been attending for 10 years now. It has helped shape myself, and my siblings. As an adult looking back I am so glad to have had the opportunity to train here, spend a time instructing here, and now see my younger brother Christen become sich an amazing instructor. So greatful for everything this school has done for my family.

Believe it or not, leaving Premier Martial Arts was one of the hardest parts of our out-of-state move—simply because the team was so exceptional. The only reason we had to say goodbye was geography. The instructors went above and beyond, really getting to know our girls and showing them that they truly cared. We watched our daughters grow not just in martial arts skills, but in responsibility, respect, and the importance of following through. The life lessons they learned were invaluable, and the positive impact will stick with us long after the classes. Premier is more than a martial arts studio—it’s a place where great people help shape great kids. We are forever grateful!

I absolutely love this karate class for my 5-year-old son! The instructors are amazing with the kids. They are patient, encouraging, and great at building confidence and discipline. A special thank you to Jose the manager, who has been incredibly flexible and understanding with my schedule. He has worked with me on being able to attend different class times and days when needed, which has made such a huge difference for me and my family. I highly recommend this karate school to any parent looking for a supportive and positive environment for their child! Also, they do have a military discount!

Came in with my 15 year old son to see what they offered. My son took 1st class and instantly wanted to join. After some research and reviews I sign him up. I feel this is a great fit for him.

My daughter Juniper joined premier martial arts because we wanted her to learn the beginnings of self defense and gain some confidence and discipline. The instructor’s here are incredible with kids. They are patient but hold the children accountable and that is something I value immensely. I already see an improvement in my child’s confidence and more. We can’t wait to continue to see her grow here!

I cannot say enough good things about PMA hurst. Coach Guy and Coach D both make our boys feel so confident, want to continue pushing themselves, and make them excited to learn more. Great place with good people that work and run this place. Kind, but consistent and always clean. Extremely knowledgeable and they work well with kids with disabilities too. Essential life skills that they teach. They even have adult classes.

Premier Martial Arts is hands down has the best instructors I've came across. They are very helpful and very educated. I've been in classes with the kids and their teaching is so genuine and easy for all the kids to take in. Absolutely love the Energy of the instructors. Love that they are teaching confidence, discipline, resilience and so many other great things. I’m excited for all that this program has to offer my child.

I've had my son enrolled in the jiu-jitsu program for over a year. He was near 4.5 y/o when he started and I cannot express how wonderful the professors are the kids. In jiu-jitsu, Mr. Rene pushes them to learn, grow, understand and implement the techniques , while enforcing safety. Like any contact sport, there will be an ouchie here or there...but nothing serious because it's caught promptly. The age gaps could get a bit big between the students but, the safe level of force mitigates most of the difference in size, experience. It's good though because it's pushed my son to think more strategically to overcome his disadvantages. Now, we've added their Striking (kickboxing) class and my 3.5 year old daughter onto our package. Surprisingly, my daughter was not the youngest ever enrolled and, in fact, that younger student is quite impressive. They use striking gloves and nun-chucks in their lessons. Nerve wrecking to see at first but it's beautiful to see the kids learning to master such a skill this young. Mr. Ben is a young developing professor but he's very patient and just the right level of stern with the kids. Promoting respect, discipline and structure that the kids are able to understand at their ages. I'm happy to have found this place and I have been satisfied with the lessons my children are learning. I think I would add the 5th star when they start adding competitions regularly. We participated in one jiu-jitsu tournament in the fall and that was a blast. Thank you Mr. Dunn for having us.

We love premier! Mr O’Leary and his staff are incredible. I enrolled my son so he could learn to have some better listening skills and discipline, to say the least I am happy. It’s an investment but it’s 100% worth it.

My daughter joined about three months ago, after spending a year in gymnastics where I felt she hadn’t shown much growth or learned any new techniques. Right from the start, I noticed a huge improvement in both her mental, physical development, her focus in class, attention to detail, excitement to learn a new move set & to excel. Sensei is very professional and sets realistic expectations that actually encourage the kids to grow. He’s been nothing but respectful and supportive to all the children in every class I’ve attended. I would 100% recommend this program for kids of any age. It’s not just a daycare—it’s a program that teaches important values like common sense, perseverance, accountability, focus, self-control, and self-defense. Activity’s like this are a privilege and an investment into your child.

This place is a must try!!! The teachers are very kind and helpful even when you mess up. They give good instruction and are able to understand you no matter the disability. My autistic brother was able to enjoy the class without being yelled at or insulted. We learned a lot and enjoyed every second of the class. I highly recommend trying it out and continuing to go there if you enjoy it.

We invited Premier Martial Arts Latham to lead a basic workshop for a group of university students, and it was fantastic! Natasha, the instructor, was warm, welcoming, and highly professional. She managed to provide us with many valuable and essential basic skills within just an hour and a half. We will definitely be in touch for future programs and highly recommend them!
