My 5 year old loves PMA. Being part of the PMA franchise, the school does combined tournaments every season and that’s a really big plus compared to some standalone martial arts schools. All the instructors at the school are wonderful and ensure every kid gets the opportunity to participate equally in class.

Absolutely 10/10. The owner Jordan does an incredible job, is super involved, keeps the place clean and organized, and brings a ton of energy. It's everything you want from martial arts classes. I can't recommend this place enough to anyone who wants their kids to gain confidence both physically and mentally!

I can't recommend PMA enough--watching my daughter grow with PMA was an amazing journey and contributed in a huge way to her growth and discipline and self-esteem. The senseis are incredible, kind and professional--even in the more challenging times, they would see the students through those challenges, guiding them with endless encouragement, patience and empathy. How the youngsters were motivated to take on increasing challenges and maintain confidence, leading up to black belt, never ceased to amaze me and I'm so proud of my daughter for embracing the challenges with their guidance and seeing it through. After all this I consider Ben and his crew to be friends of our family and I know my daughter will always appreciate how they helped shape her upbringing in such a positive way. The challenges were many but my daughter is all the better for taking them on and seeing them through. PMA is a great place for you and / or your child to strengthen your mind, body and ability.

Coach Gill, coach Miwa, and coach Collin are wonderful instructors for our two older boys. This is their first martial arts experience and they caught them up to speed quickly and they are growing in their skills and confidence with every training session. Also, their respect towards others and self-discipline has grown so much since they’ve started with Premier. Grateful for their team.

My son Tyler has been going to PMA for 4 or so months. We joined bc he dropped out of playing sports bc he wasnt having fun as the other kids were developmentally above him and he felt it. The classes 2x a week are great, my son has improved on every level and has a lot more confidence. Where the real improvement has happened though is doing one on one hour sessions with Sensei. He is building him up from the ground up and has expediated his improvement. It is very affordable for the service provided, definitely recommend.

Since my daughter started at PMA, I’ve seen such incredible growth in her! Her confidence has increased so much, and she’s shown great maturity both in and outside of class. She truly enjoys participating and always looks forward to seeing her instructors. The team at PMA does an amazing job creating a positive, motivating, and supportive environment for the kids. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve poured into her!

My daughter has been going to this dojo for a little over 2 years. With the guidance of Coach Troy and Coach Charles, I’ve watched her not grow in her skills and technique, but in her confidence. She stands with her shoulders back and isn’t afraid to out herself out there now. She’s learning a variety of martial arts but also application in real life self defense scenarios. Coach Troy came alongside her in her academics and behavior at home in holding her accountable at the dojo. I’m so thankful for Premier Martial Arts Jersey Village and all they’ve done for my daughter!

Great place to train not just your body, but also your mind! My son loves karate classes! I really love how kind and respectful the relationships are between the team and parents, everything feels smooth and supportive. Whenever you have questions, the staff is always ready to help and guide you to improve. The classes are full of energy, engagement, and positivity!

We were not let down with Premiers ability to keep our young one enthusiastic, energized, and open for learning during sessions. Gabe and McKenna were both very encouraging from the start and that has definitely been a big contribution to how much he has enjoyed the class!

If you’re looking to put your kids in martial arts this is the best dojo! Coach Troy and Coach Charles are amazing and my son loves it here. We transferred to this location about a year ago, and I wish we would have started out here. I’ve already seen huge improvements in his martial arts and behavior at home.

Highly recommend! We have loved the discipline habits that PMA has been developing in my kids. It definitely helps at home and is focused on great mental as well as physical growth. The best part of PMA are the instructors- they are so friendly, firm, skilled, patient and really wonderful with the students!

PMA RO has been the karate home for my kid since 2023. Excellent coaches, good values, nice clean space. Children are happy to learn in this enviroment.

Pros: This is a very positive place to bring your kids, exercise discipline, and have fun. I really like it for my child. The coaches are not just about helping kids in martial arts but in all aspects of life so they can become great people that contribute to society. Communication about closed times and dates is fair. The website is not great. The link to get to your login is oddly hard to find and there are three separate website that can all get you to the JV location but don’t provide beneficial info They fixed the musty feet smell in the waiting area Cons: my family and I are new to martial arts. When we are getting into something I always ask an ungodly amount of questions to really understand what we are getting into so I know I asked all these things or something around the topics before finding out later. When I signed my child up it was explained to me very straight forward… pay per month option, have belt testing, get your child’s uniform and this is their class time…. Many months later I discovered they have a parent group that meets, cheers on other students at tournaments (that anyone can go to). These are all things I LOVE being apart of. There are also separate programs your child can sign up on. There is the black belt track and then I am guessing an ordinary track?? The black belt training -your child gets longer classes, use different equipment etc. I did not go back and talk to Coach Kahn about this because I can’t make any modifications to my commitments now. I wish all options were shared with me when I was able to modify my schedule and not over commit. My preference would have been to join the parent group and help out how I could. I still like this place but not sure how much longer we will attend. I would definitely recommend it though!!

We are new to the PMA family and I can already see what a blessing it will be for my 5 year old son and our family! The instructors are wonderful, seem to really care and my son is always excited to go back for the next class 🙂

Our son Kaden has been with Premier Martial Arts for almost now 4 years and we have seen a big improvement with behavior and self discipline! Kaden has started helping for almost a year now with teaching the classes with Coaches supervision and has been doing the leadership class since that has started. We love Premier Martial Arts and we highly recommend it for your kid whether they are 3yrs old to an adult it is for everyone!!! Thank you Coach Troy, Coach Charles!!!
