We hosted our 9yo’s birthday party here and we can’t say enough great things! The team at PMA are so welcoming, communicative and organized when planning the party. They provided custom invitations to hand out, plenty of time to set up snacks, cake and some decor. The kids had so much fun, and the birthday girl is still talking about how amazing it was to cut a cake with a samurai sword, and break a board! 10/10 reccomend for a unique, super fun and low maintenance party!

We love that the classes help our children build self-confidence and composure during testing. Shaun is amazing with the kids and encourage them to aim for better.

People are great. The prices and charges for EVERYTHING not so much. But my child has grown so much it's hard to complain... I just find a way.

My son is very hesitant to try new things but they made him feel safe and comfortable! He immediately asked the instructor when he was getting his gi! I love how from the first day they give them homework to practice discipline and how morals are a standard! Definitely feel my son would feel the confidence he needs to redeem 1000% recommend!!

My son is not a sports fan but he loves this place and they have managed to capture his attention without being caught up in a list of dos and don’ts. I can’t wait to see what happens over time with this!

Our 2 boys, 5 and 6 year olds, have been coming here for almost a year. Coach Josh has been amazing working with them, having much patience to teach them the beginning skills/basics correctly. We see the life skills taught here instilled in them both and transferring over to their everyday lives. Travis, the office manager, is so easy to work with and is a great communicator. We highly recommend this martial arts studio!

It’s been about two years since I started mixed martial arts and I’m finally half way to my black belt. It’s pretty rad to see how far I’ve come since walking into that dojo- quiet as a mouse, apologizing for existing, anxiety ridden. As a domestic violence survivor I had a lot of uncontrollable trauma responses- flight, freeze, people pleasing. Working in a field that put me in situations to help people with anger and violence issues was a tad triggering. Today I can confidently say I am not that scared anymore. My first instinct isn’t to freeze but to stand up for myself and others. I’ve literally had to scream “NO” and counter my teacher as we pretended he was attacking me on a city street. Huge thank you to premier martial arts in Latham for helping me grow and heal 💕

My son has really enjoyed it here at PMA in Mount Pleasant, Shaun does a good job of keeping it fun while still pushing them well to show good discipline and learn the routines (which is really challenging when it comes to a 4 year old). We’ve even booked a birthday party at PMA for his birthday next month and he’s very excited to share that experience with his friends. Definitely recommend.

Premiere Martial Arts in Plantation is fantastic. Justin, the main instructor, works with every student with professional instruction, care , and sincerity. Every student is treated as though they are the most important person in the class. When you are putting your child in any learning class , you want someone you trust and cares. I can’t imagine a better place or instructor.

The instructor was very patient and encouraging on my son’s first day. The class moved through a variety of skills throughout the class which keeps the kids engaged and learning. We had an amazing experience with this martial arts program! PMA is a fantastic place to get your kiddo started with Marshal arts. They offer several sessions with various age groups. My son has had a lot of fun sessions and enjoys the classes a lot. Coach Alejandro & Coach Robert are very professional, very patient and a master of their art and work fabulously with the kiddos.My son adores them very much! My 7 year old son has been participating in their program for almost three years. He has thoroughly enjoyed it and we've certainly seen an increase in his motor skill control and an improvement in his work ethic. The instructors here teach not only martial arts but also concepts of respect and other key skills young children need.

We love it here. My son’s both have attended premier and they love it. All the staff are amazing and very helpful, professional, and provide a great atmosphere for all the kids. I highly recommend giving them a try.

My son has been attending Premier Martial Arts at the Heights for just over a year now, and are very happy to have joined. Sensei Nick and his team not only teach martial arts skills but also make an effort to connect personally with each student, helping to build their self-confidence and support their personal growth. Ever since Alexa joined in 2022, Coach Robert and Coach Alejandro—along with other awesome student trainers—have been nothing short of amazing. They’re patient, encouraging, and really know how to connect with the kids. What I love most is that they don’t just teach martial arts as a sport—they focus on the full picture. They help the kids grow physically and mentally, building their character, confidence, and discipline every step of the way. I love this place, highly recommended!

Good teaching of discipline and respect. It's a very different activity for my son than the team sports and is a great confidence builder. Sensei is very knowledgeable and good at teaching, but does take some getting used to with his sarcasm; when coupled with Coach T (who is great at interacting with the kids while teaching) it's a good dynamic that works with my son. Just a bit pricey for the time compared to other activities.

The coaches are top notch, supportive and go above and beyond for their students. Super grateful my son is able to train here! He’s learned so much and is constantly leveling up his skills by training with Sensei Nick and the other coaches. Highly recommend Premier Martial Arts - Heights.
